Can all 200 bottles have different designs?

No. Each production run uses one approved label design across the entire batch. This keeps quality, legal compliance and cost realistic. For truly individual bottles you can add personalised neck tags or presentation boxes on top of the base design.

Can I use my own bottle shape?

Yes. Alongside our standard bottle library you can design a bespoke bottle in the studio, or upload references. Bespoke bottles carry a tooling cost and longer lead time, shown transparently in the estimate.

What legal information must appear on the label?

Labels must show the producer, ABV, volume, country of origin, allergen and government warnings applicable to the destination country. We check every artwork against these requirements before printing.

Can I upload my own logo and artwork?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can upload logos, patterns and reference photos. We recommend vector logos or high-resolution PNGs; our studio will flag anything that will not print cleanly at the final size.

Do you work with hotels, airlines and restaurants?

Yes. Hospitality and premium retail are core clients. We can support brand-usage rights, larger repeat orders, multi-address shipping and dedicated account management. Contact us to start a business project.

Can I get an invoice in my company name?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Business orders receive a VAT-compliant invoice in your company name, with the ability to add PO references, cost centres and multiple shipping addresses.

Can we sell the bottles commercially?

Commercial resale requires the appropriate alcohol licence in your jurisdiction and confirmation of brand usage on your side. We can help structure the project so it complies with local rules, but the licence itself is your responsibility.

Who owns the cask during production?

Accepted Answer

The cask is owned and managed by our parent company, MyWhisky, and remains in a bonded warehouse in Scotland until bottling. Your order reserves the specific bottles from that cask under your brand.

What if the cask yields fewer or more bottles?

Accepted Answer

Real casks lose small amounts to the angel's share and to filtration. If yield comes in low, we prioritise fulfilling your committed quantity and refund the difference in cost. If yield is higher, additional bottles can be offered to you at cost — you are never billed for more than you ordered.

Can I choose the exact distillery?

You choose from casks currently available in our inventory, each shown with distillery, region, age, cask type and remaining litres. Named distilleries change over time as casks sell out and new ones are released.

Is the whisky single cask?

Yes. Every CaskCraft project is a single-cask release from one identified cask, not a blend or vatting.

How does the ordering process work?

You choose a cask from our live inventory, pick a bottle and label design, review a transparent price breakdown, and pay a deposit to secure production. From artwork approval we typically deliver in about 8 weeks.

What is the minimum order?

The minimum order is 200 bottles per cask project. This is the smallest run that lets us fully bottle, label, package and ship a single cask under your name.

Do I need an account to explore?

No. You can browse casks, bottle styles and example pricing without an account. You only need to sign in when you save a design or place an order.

How long does production take?

From artwork approval to delivery is typically 8 weeks. Cask disgorging, bottling and labelling take about 4 weeks; QA, packing and freight take the rest, depending on destination.

Can I visit the distillery or warehouse?

For most projects the cask stays in a bonded Scottish warehouse until bottling. We can arrange partner-distillery visits for larger commercial orders on request.

What is included in the price?

Every quote itemises cask share (per-litre price × bottle volume), bottle production, label & finish, packaging, and applicable VAT. Freight and destination duties are shown separately based on your shipping country.

Why does the price change over time?

Prices reflect live currency exchange rates, cask availability and finish choices. The rate and timestamp used are shown on your quote, and the quoted total is held for the validity window of your quote.

How much is the deposit?

The default deposit is 30% of the order total, paid via secure card checkout. The remainder is billed once artwork is approved and the run is scheduled.

Can I get a refund on my deposit?

Yes, up to 7 days after payment if production has not started. After we lock in bottling and labelling, the deposit is non-refundable but any unstarted stages are credited back. See our refund policy for full detail.

Where do you ship?

We ship to most countries where private import of alcohol is permitted. Availability, duties and delivery time vary by destination — enter your country on the Shipping page to see specific rules.

Are import duties included?

Accepted Answer

For most destinations duties and destination VAT are billed at the border and paid by the recipient (DAP). For selected countries we can quote a fully landed price (DDP) — this is confirmed on your quote before payment.

Do you require age verification on delivery?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All shipments require an adult signature at delivery and, where required by law, government-ID age verification. Any package we cannot deliver safely to an adult is returned at cost.

What happens if a bottle breaks in transit?

Accepted Answer

Every shipment is insured. Report breakage within 7 days with photos and we replace the affected bottles from the same run, or credit them if the run is closed.
